Paula Wilhelm Wooden

Paula Wilhelm Wooden, 68, of Fayetteville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 17, 2025.

Paula was preceded in death by her father, Allen Gordon Wilhelm and her mother, Betty Jo Garret. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Raymond Wooden, her children, Jacki Pates and Danny Pates, and her sisters, Terry Behler and Valaria Wainwright.

Paula was a woman of unwavering love and dedication to her family. She fiercely adored her children and poured her heart into every moment with them. A passionate animal lover, Paula never turned away a stray—whether furred, feathered, or otherwise—always offering care and compassion to those in need.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 24, 2025, from 12:00 to 12:45 PM at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM in the chapel, officiated by Gregg Blackwell. Interment will take place at Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery.

Paula’s kindness, strength, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
