Myrtle Louise Driver Obituary

Myrtle Louise Caulder Driver, 96, of Fayetteville went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, May 30, 2019 at her home surrounded by family.

She was born February 14, 1923 in Rockingham, NC to the late Carl C. Caulder and Annie Jane Grant Caulder.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 48 years, William Ammer Driver Jr. - her “Babe”; brothers, Carl, Harry, and Raymond Caulder; and son in law, Joel E. Lipson.

Her true joy in life was her family and her faith. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who will be truly missed by all. She loved flowers, working in the yard and to socialize/visit and talk.

Left to cherish her memory is her only son; William Ammer Driver III and daughter in law, Jean of Fayetteville; two daughters, Kathryn Driver Lipson of Annapolis, MD and Elaine Driver Sandreth ; seven grandchildren; Lora Lipson, Ericka Heflin, Heather Driver Parker and husband, Cricket, Kevin Lipson and wife, Whitney, Jeremy Sandreth, Joshua Sandreth,  and William A. Driver IV and wife, Lauren; nine great grandchildren; Logan and Tenlee Heflin, Reese and Brooke Lipson, James Parker, Ella Driver, Brianna, Aiden, and Amelia Sandreth; sister in law, Betsy Caulder; several nieces and nephews, and several “furry” grand kids.

There will be a Graveside Service at 12 p.m. on Monday, June 3, 2019 at Cross Creek Cemetery #4 with Mr. Alan officiating. The family will receive friends and family one hour prior to the service at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home from 11-11:45 a.m.

Following the service, the family would like to invite everyone to join them at the funeral home for light refreshments and a time of remembrance.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude’s Hospital  https://www.stjude.org/give.html
