Miller Bodenhausen Cash was born in Fayetteville on February 13, 1933, and passed away at his home on June 25, 2024, at 91 years of age.
He was preceded in death by wife, Helen Cash; his father, Theodore Cash; mother, Hazel Cash; and sister, Barbara Marsh. He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Cash of Fayetteville and son, Andrew Cash of Las Vegas.
Miller was a person in the Fayetteville community that many people were acquainted with and a friend with them as well. He was associated closely with the Greek community and loved them dearly. He was a devoted husband to his beloved late wife of 60 years, Mrs. Helen Cash. His children Barbara and Andy were special to him, and he took great pride in their accomplishments. In his earlier years Miller was a successful businessman in the community and through his associations grew to know and became a special friend to many. He will be greatly missed in the Fayetteville community.
Miller attended North Carolina State University, and he served our country as a paratrooper in the Korean War under The Rakkasan Shimbun, the 187th Airborne Regimental Combat Team.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024, from 11 am to 12:45 pm. A memorial service will be held at 1 pm in the chapel of Rogers and Breece conducted by Father Alex with the St. Helen and Constantine Greek Church. Following the service there will be a procession to Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery.
