Mike Stancil, 64, of Fayetteville, passed away on December 3, 2024.
He was preceded in death by his father, Retired U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. John D. Stancil. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Audrey Stancil; daughters, Crystal and husband, Ronnie McGahee, Jodi Stancil, Emily and husband, Mickey Norris, and April Jamison; his mother, Beverly Bauer; sisters, Sandi and husband, Jun Hammersmith, Sherry and husband, Jerry Womack, and Debbie and husband, John Cross; grandchildren, Joey, Keith Michael, Malik, Kaleb, and his “little sunshine,” Aubree. He also leaves behind numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of cherished friends.
Mike was a proud business owner and the founder of Cumberland Septic, a company he built from the ground up alongside his wife and children. Known for his loyalty, honesty, and generosity, he touched countless lives through his willingness to help others. A devoted family man and a loyal friend, he enjoyed breakfast gatherings with his buddies. Mike was deeply committed to his community, consistently giving back and firmly believing that everyone deserved a second chance. His hardworking and compassionate nature left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 8, 2024, from 2:00 to 2:45 p.m. at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Rogers and Breece Chapel.
