Melva Dean (Skipper) Anderson

Melva Dean Anderson, age 74, of Stedman passed away on November 17, 2024.

Melva was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Anderson; parents, Hilda and Larry Pamplin; sister, Gwendolyn Jones, and brother, Sammy Higgens. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Denis T. Anderson, Wendy K. Love-Gale, and Kimberly D. Anderson; grandchildren, Holly, Dustin, Zachary, Chandler, Austin, Christian, McKenna, Autumn, William, and Ryan; three great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, and nephews.

Melva, a proud retiree of Goodyear, found joy in gardening, cooking, and baking. She and Jimmy shared a passion for NASCAR, often traveling to attend races together. Melva also had a fondness for shopping and cherished her family deeply, always brimming with pride for each of them.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home from 4 to 6 pm. A graveside service will be held at 1 pm on Friday, November 22, 2024, at Old Bluff Cemetery with Brother Larry Chason officiating.
