Mary Brown Woodruff

Mary Brown Woodruff, 93, passed away into her heavenly rest on March 7, 2024, as the sunrise was breaking with her daughter, Dawn and son in law, Bob at her bedside.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Lee and Bessie Louis (Caulk) Brown; siblings, Howard Brown, William Jennings Brown, George Douglas Brown, and Margarite Brown. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Terri Parker and Husband, Steve Parker, Dawn and husband, Bob Morales, Jay and wife, Kelly Turlington; grandchildren, Amy and husband, Brian Hartzell, Suzy and husband, John Altman, Michael Norcross, Michelle and husband, Dale Watson, Bobby and wife, Clandette Morales, Jamie, Josh, and wife, Ashely Turlington; great grandchildren, Jake, Justin, Kate, Will, Amanda, Vanessa, Colby, Isabelle, Avery, Ethan, and Lyric.

Mary was a lifelong resident of Fayetteville, NC. She was a loyal and dedicated employee as a county clerk for 30 years. She was a faithful volunteer for nursing home visitation and musical presentation through her church. Her spiritual gifts of mercy and faithfulness were evident to anyone she met.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 11 AM at Northwood Temple Church, 4250 Ramsey St Fayetteville, NC. The family will receive friends after the service.
