Obituary
Mary Ann Strickland Capps, 89, passed away on March 29, 2023.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband, MSG James Edison Capps and her daughter, Nancy J. Capps. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her grandson, James Alexander Thaman; granddaughter, Rachel Ann Capps and husband, Andrew Berg; and her two grandchildren, Avianna Alora Hester, and Braeden Berg.
Born in Spring Lake, NC, Mary Ann dedicated her life to helping others. She was a loving, Caring, and generous woman who will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends on Monday, April 3, 2023, at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home from 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, with Pastor Scott Connor and Pastor Kirby officiating. Burial to follow the service at Lafayette Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St Jude's Children's Hospital or to the family: Rachel Capps, 469 N. Horsepen Rd. Harrells, NC 28444.
