Mary Elizabeth (Ryan) Budzynski

Mary Elizabeth Budzynski, 95, of Fayetteville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 11, 2025.

Born on August 21, 1929, in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Mary was the daughter of the late John and Mary Ryan. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph Budzynski, and her brothers, James Ryan and Francis Ryan.

Mary met the love of her life, Joseph, a Special Forces soldier, in Boston, Massachusetts. They later moved to Fayetteville, North Carolina, where they were married. She made Fayetteville her home for nearly 60 years, dedicating her life to her family as a devoted homemaker.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, cherished by her son, Michael Joseph Budzynski and his wife, Carol; her granddaughters, Taylor Marie Budzynski and Morgan Michelle Budzynski; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

A devout Catholic and proud person of Irish decent, she was a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend. Mary will be deeply missed.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at St. Ann Catholic Church at 12:30 PM. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM, with Father Matthew presiding.
