Marcia Rae (White) Knight

Marcia Rae White Knight, 78 years old, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025.

Marcia was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Conners; brothers, Eddie White and Danny White; mother, Irene Milligan; and her granddaughters, Samantha Knight and Olivia Knight. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her spouse, Bobby Gene Knight; daughter, Donna Turnage (Jeremy) of Linden, NC; son, Bobby Marcus Knight (Trina) of Simpsonville, SC; son, Randal Knight (Stacy) of Spring Lake, NC; and her daughter, Lauren McKay (Jeff) of Linden, NC. She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Krista Giles, Matthew Giles, Josh Knight, Zackary Knight, Richard Connors, Jeffrey McKay, Spencer McKay, and Alessa Knight; and her great grandchildren: August Giles-Houck, Juniper Giles-Houck, and Scout Giles.

Marcia was the cherished wife of Bobby Knight for 59 years, and the beloved mother of five children. She dedicated 15 years as a bookkeeper for Harnett County Schools. She was passionate about community involvement, serving as a Girl Scout Troop Leader for over a decade, earning the esteemed Silver Pinecone Award. She found joy in bowling league nights with family, playing card games, scrapbooking, solving puzzles, and cheering on the Braves. Above all, Marcia treasured the time spent with her grandchildren.

A private celebration of life will be held at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home.
