Lynn (Kornegay) Dennis

On Wednesday, March 6th, 2024, Lynn K. Dennis went to be with the Lord Jesus.

Lynn was born and lived in Fayetteville, NC where she attended Cape Fear High School. She went on to earn a master’s degree in sociology from Pembroke State University.

Lynn was predeceased in death by her husband, Michale Dennis; father, James T. Kornegay, Sr.; mother, Dale Hay; brother, James T. Kornegay; and sister, Lisa Matthews. Lynn will be deeply missed by her brother, Khris Kornegay, and his wife, Jacqueline Kornegay.; and her three beautiful nieces, Misty Gilder, Crystal Mayfield, and Kristin Kornegay.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 9th, 2024, at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home from 6 to 8 pm. A graveside service will be held at Lafayette Memorial Park at 11 am on Sunday, March 10th, 2024, with Reverend Gordon Bradford officiating.
