Lola Scott Obituary

Lola Dean Scott, 74, passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021.

Lola was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Marie Oakley; her brother, Irving Oakley; and her daughter, Brenda Smith.

Lola is survived by her beloved husband of 24 years, John; her daughter, Glenda Noble and husband, Steve of Trenton, MI; son, Donald Rigsby and wife, Angela of Fayetteville, NC; daughter, Denise Carmack and husband, Gary of Fayetteville, NC; granddaughters, Breanna Rigsby, Megan SinaCori, and Danielle Mcauly all of Fayetteville, NC; grandsons, Zachary and Justin Smith of Stockton, Ca; brother, Anthony Oakley and wife, Joan of Roscommon, MI; sister, Lona Cheek and husband, Gene of London, KY; and nine great grandchildren.

Lola was a loving wife, mother, and friend. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly. Lola had a deep love for animals and cooking, she was an amazing cook.

A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at 12:30 PM at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Swiatocho officiating. The family will greet friends prior the service at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
