Linda Kaye Wieland

Linda Kaye Wieland, 79, passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at the Hope Mills Retirement Center. Linda was born in Fayetteville, NC, on September 6, 1945, to the late C.L. and Juanita Tackel.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Kirk Tackel; her husband, Gary Wieland; and her son, Christopher McArthur.

Linda served her community as a teaching assistant for twenty years.

She is survived by her son, Brant McArthur, and his wife, Whitney; as well as two grandsons, Kyle McArthur and Reece McArthur.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. on Friday, April 11, 2025, at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. in the Rogers and Breece chapel, with Reverend Andrew Clark and Dr. Jeff Isenhour officiating. Burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park.
