Linda Dale Pinion, 72, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2024.
Linda was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Ethel Smith, and George and Kate Cain; parents, Nathan, and Peggy Smith; her loving spouse, Bobby Pinion, and her beloved sister, Anne Coleman.
Linda is survived by her siblings, Mike Smith of Fayetteville, Jimmy Smith (Evie) of Fayetteville, Craig Smith (Debbie) of Fayetteville, Ray Smith (Maria) of Fayetteville, and Tracy Smith (Annette) of Gray's Creek. As well as a host for nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews who loved and cared for her deeply.
"Dale" was a lifelong resident of Massey Hill. She married the love of her life, Bobby Ray in 1994. Dale loved her dogs, Dusty, and Buttons, they were treated as her children. She was an aunt and second mother to numerous nieces and nephews. Dale always made you smile and loved to do for others. She enjoyed crafting, coloring, creating flower arrangements, and spending time with family and friends. Dale had many friends and was a well loved member of the Massey Hill Community. Her impact on the lives of loved ones is immeasurable and she will always be remembered for her feisty personality and wit.
A funeral service with visitation will be held on Thursday January 25, 2024, at Massey Hill Baptist Church. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11:45 am, a funeral service will follow 12:00pm with Pastor Tim Evans officiating. Burial will follow the service at Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street.
