Lilia was the single daughter born to Mary Antonette Newball De Henry in Cartagena, Columbia on March 15, 1919.
Lilia departed this life peacefully in her sleep on February 1, 2020 within the company of her oldest daughter Norma at the residence of her granddaughter Maritza. She is preceded in death by her husband Peter Joseph Malone.
Lilia is survived by her two daughters, Lilia B. Anderson King, residing in Panama; Norma Elena Anderson Gordon residing in Fayetteville, NC.
Granddaughters, Maritza Boone Boyd (Gordon) spouse Derrick Adrian Boyd from Fayetteville, NC; Mayra King Renteria, spouse Jesus Renteria and Miriam King from Panama.
Grandsons, Horacio Charles King, spouse Carmen King, Gilberto Hughes Anderson, spouse Lynnette Hughes, Alberto Eduardo Gordon, Roberto Dario King from Panama and adopted grandson Norberto G. Williams from NY.
Great granddaughters, Zulyn Elena DeHarty-Ryan (Boone), Crystal Leen Todd (Boone) from Fayetteville, NC, Tiffany Taisha Gordon from NY, Jessica Hughes from CO, Jennifer King from Panama, Janneth King from NY, Jaquelin King, Yoreli and Lizbeth Roa King from Panama.
Great grandsons, Harold Hughes from Panama, Anthony Hughes, Kevin Hughes from CO, Jakir Alberto Gordon, Robertito King, Jesusito, Joar and Jahir Renteria from Panama.
She is also survived by twenty-four great-great grandchildren.
Lilia was a devout Catholic and dedicated much of her later years providing financial donations to numerous groups to improve the life of others. She was present and active in all four proceeding generations of her family. She was deeply loved and will be missed.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 7, 2020 at xxx at St. Ann Catholic Church with Deacon Gary Stemple officiating. Burial will follow at Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery.
