Lee Beaudene Weyant, 65, passed away on October 18, 2025, at his home. Lee was born at Madigan Military Hospital in Tacoma, Washington, on December 6, 1959, to Johanna Weyant and the late Charles “Hawk” Weyant.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles F. Weyant, and his sister, Charlene Weyant.
Lee is survived by his mother, Johanna Weyant; his brother, Fallon Weyant; two nephews, Jeremiah Haynes and Chris Weyant; and many other relatives and friends who will cherish his memory.
Lee was a dedicated community member who routinely offered a helping hand to his neighbors in need. He loved nature and animals, especially gardening, hiking, and spending time with his beloved dog, Voodoo. One of his favorite pastimes was canoeing on the Cape Fear River with his family. Lee was also an avid history reader and a self-taught gourmet cook. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home, Fayetteville, NC at noon on November 22, 2025. The family will receive friends prior to the service at 11:00am in the same area as the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Cumberland County Animal Services, Fayetteville, NC.
