Lawrence Daniel McMillen

CSM Lawrence Daniel McMillen, U.S. Army (Ret.), passed away on June 2, 2026.

Lawrence was a Vietnam Veteran decorated with valor. He was a member of the DAV. Chapter 46 and a member of the VFW. Being a man of faith, he was also a member of The First Christian Church Disciples of Christ.

Lawrence is preceded in death by his mother, Katherine Roshon; and his son, Bryant McMillen.

Lawrence is survived by his wife, Marie Stanley McMillen, of the home; his daughter, Sharon Vela & Danny Hall, of Fayetteville, NC; his son, Bobby (Pat) Letbetter, of Myrtle Beach, SC; his grandchildren, Daniel (Dawn), Timmy (Laura), Nichole, Nina, and Mcolan; and his great grandchildren, Cameron, Cody, Cole, Connor, Lucas and Ryan.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm, Sunday, June 14, 2026, at the Rogers & Breece Chapel, with Chaplain John Pabon officiating. Prior to the services, the family will be greeting friends and guests at Rogers & Breece Chapel, starting at 12:45pm.  Lawrence will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
