Larry Bruce Taylor

Larry Bruce Taylor, 87, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving family.

Larry was born in Wilson, NC, on October 7, 1938, to the late Roy Clifton Taylor and late Stella Leigh Moss Taylor.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Edna Earl Rose.

Larry is survived by his wife of 63 years, Faye Taylor; his two daughters Robin Campbell and Kelly McKoy; his brother, Rex Deleon Taylor; four grandchildren, Brittany Campbell, Seay Campbell, Miranda McKoy, and Matthew McKoy. He will be greatly missed by many other relatives and friends.

Larry was a wonderful husband, father, and friend. His expertise on the grill was unmatched. He loved to cook for his family and friends.

A private family gathering will be held at home.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or to the Wounded Warrior Project.
