Judy Calhoun Horne

Judy Calhoun Horne, 80 years old, of Fayetteville, NC passed away on April 18, 2024.

Judy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William David (W.D) Horne; and her parents, Clarence Calhoun, and Bonnie Carter. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons, David Ray Horne and wife, Michael Ann Horne, and Daniel Owen Horne; and her five grandchildren whom she was affectionally known as Grandma/Maga.

Judy concluded her extensive career with the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department, and alongside her law enforcement duties, she worked as a hairstylist. Her legacy will endure for her gentle spirit, being a devoted wife, caring mother, and incredible grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home from 1 to 1:45 pm. A funeral service will be held at 2 pm in the Breece Chapel. Burial to follow the service at Lafayette Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the American Heart Association in Judy’s honor.
