Jerome Ernest Johnson

Jerome “Jerry” Ernest Johnson, 75, of Hope Mills, NC passed away on December 2, 2022.

Jerome is preceded in death by his parents, LaVerne “Johnny” Floyd Johnson, and Ione C. Johnson. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 51 years, Linda Kay Johnson of the home.

Jerome proudly served his country with the US Army for 28.5 years, retiring as a CW-4 Warrant Officer. He was a wonderful example of a Mason, a husband, and a friend. He always had time for others and was the first to lend a hand to someone in need.

Visitation will be held at 1 to 1:45 PM at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home on Thursday, December 8, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Thursday, December 8, 2022, at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park.
