Jeraldine Scott Locklear

Jeraldine Scott Locklear, 72, of Fayetteville, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2024.

Mrs. Locklear is survived by her four daughters, Vonda Locklear- Edge (husband, Tony Edge), Belinda Locklear (husband, Shawn Locklear), Leslie Locklear (Billy Ford), and Candace
Locklear; three sons, Albert Seaberry, Michael Locklear (Laura Lockamy), and Zander Hammonds (wife, Ashley Hammonds); one sister, Shirley Scott Hammonds; 20 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren as well as a host of loving nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Locklear was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome Carlen Locklear; her mother, Savannah Scott; father, Raymond Scott, Sr.; sister, Janie Jacobs; brother, Raymond (Toby) Scott;
grandchildren, Kristopher Trey Locklear and Mayghanne Savannah Hammonds; great grandchild, Cameron Ray Carr, and her loving parents-in-law, Emmon Locklear and Reola Locklear.

Mrs. Locklear was a loving mother, wife, and grandmother, a beautiful soul who would help anyone. Her smile lit up any room she entered. She enjoyed going to the beach to fish and the
mountains to gem mine. She lived life to the fullest and especially loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be forever missed.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 1:00pm at Cumberland Memorial Gardens located at 4509 Raeford Road Fayetteville, NC 28304.
