Jennifer Lindsay Partney

Jennifer Lindsay Partney passed peacefully in her sleep with her family by her side at the age of 55 on Monday, April 28th, 2025. Born in Fayetteville, NC, to Donna Jo Hagerman and the late Keith Lee Partney on September 19th, 1969, she left an indelible mark on the lives of everyone she met. She is survived by her two sons: Austin Duke and his wife, Morgan Dew, of Knightdale, NC; and Danny Proctor and his wife, Nita Proctor, of Dobson, NC. She is also survived by three sisters: Stephanie Anderson and her wife, Melissa Ayscue; Tia Montgomery and her husband, Jan Montgomery; and Katherine Keith and her husband, Jared Lingelbach; as well as her brother, Keith (Keely) Partney; her granddaughter, Hazel; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Captivating, charming, charitable—Jennifer Lindsay Partney was a woman who possessed a heart large enough to love the world, and in doing so, found herself loved by all. She was an accomplished sailor who spent years as the First Mate on the Nathaniel Bowditch, a 150-foot schooner in Florida. She considered the Sunshine State her “happy place” and was fortunate enough to spend many years there. When she wasn’t on the high seas, she courted danger on the highway on her Glacier White Harley-Davidson. She had a radiant smile, which she shared as surely and often as the sun does shine. She traveled often, especially during these last few years, and I like to believe that the sun does not set on her presence in the world (though she was deeply fond of sunsets). Jennifer was a woman of deep faith who greatly valued her personal relationship with Jesus and took great pleasure in finding fellowship with others. She battled cancer for over a decade, but her indomitable spirit emerged victorious. As she resides in Heaven, she is missed on Earth, and her love perseveres—forever.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will take place immediately following the service at Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery.
