Jean Culbreth Obituary

Jean Thompson Culbreth, 86, of Stedman, NC passed away on November 7, 2021.

Jean was born on April 5, 1935. She was a high school graduate of Whiteville City High School and retired from the Cumberland County School system as a bookkeeper.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Elwood and Clara Thompson formerly of Whiteville, NC; and her sister Faye Thompson Gurgainus.

Jean is survived by her beloved husband, Sammy C. Culbreth of the home; daughter, Billie Culbreth Faircloth of Stedman, NC; two granddaughters, Skylar Faircloth of Stedman, and Sydney Faircloth of Monroe; special niece, Gloria L. Cole and husband, Michael of Fayetteville and son John Michael and wife, Emory.

A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at 11:30am at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home. A visitation will be held prior the service at 10:30am to 11:15am. Burial will follow the service at Lafayette Memorial Park. Reverend Donald Keith Carter presiding.
