Janice Edge (Owenby) Brodie

Janice Owenby Edge Brodie,76, of Fayetteville passed away on July 12, 2023.

Janice was an accomplished social worker who dedicated her life to helping others. She graduated from Fayetteville High School and Methodist University, where she gained the knowledge and skills necessary to pursue a successful career. She will be remembered for her selflessness, compassion, and unwavering commitment to helping others.

Janice was preceded in death by her mother, Sybil Owenby; father, Fred Owenby; and her sister, Brenda Owenby. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Shane, Slade, and Jana Shay Edge; niece, Denise Brown; and grandchildren, Lola, Lilly, Laney-Jade, Tanner.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 PM on Friday, July 21, 2023, at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 3 PM in the Rogers and Breece Chapel with Reverend Sandy Saunders officiating. In order to celebrate her life, the family has asked that any guests attending the service where pink in her honor instead of black.
