Janet Jenice (Jackson) Fitzgerald

Janet Jenice Fitzgerald, 73, of Fayetteville passed away on June 8, 2024, peacefully in her sleep. Born on February 25, 1951, in Ashflat, AK to the late Vester and Marion Jackson.   

Jenice was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Larry and sisters, Anna, Melvie, and Bonnie. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Rick; daughters, Tammy and Julie; grandchildren, Chris, Caillynn, Brenna, and Brandon; great grandchild, Logan; brothers, Rick, Jimmy, Ronnie, Tony, and Roger; sisters, Sandra, Brenda, and Tammy and many more relatives.

Jenice was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother especially to her grandchildren and great grandchild. She loved the beach and the countless hours working and enjoying her backyard.

 The family will receive friends on Monday, July 8, 2024, at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home from 10 to 11:15 am. A memorial service will be held at 11:30am in the chapel. Burial to follow the service at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery.
