James Anthony "Tony" McBryde, 53, passed away on March 16, 2025, in Raeford, North Carolina. Born on August 4, 1971, in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Tony lived a life marked by love for his family and friends.
Tony dedicated his life to service and care. He honorably served in the US Navy, demonstrating his commitment to his country. Following his military service, he pursued a career as a Physician Assistant, where he became known for his outstanding skill and compassionate approach to patient care.
He was known as a provider and a strong presence to those around him. Whether cooking for loved ones, camping, or visiting the mountains he cherished, Tony found joy in life's simple pleasures.
He is survived by his wife, Kim McBryde; along with Jessica, Ryan, Austin, and Max; his mother, Ina McBryde; and his siblings Christopher and Heather Singletary and Sheridan McBryde. He also leaves behind his nieces and nephew—Larissa, Elora, and Victor—as well as many beloved family members and friends. His faithful pets Jack, Ceasar, and Chevy will dearly miss him.
Tony was preceded in death by his father, Johnny McBryde; his uncle, Jimmy McBryde; and his grandparents.
A Celebration of Life will be held on March 29, 2025, at Rodgers and Breece Funeral Home, located at 500 Ramsey St., Fayetteville, North Carolina 28301. There will be visitation from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM followed by memorial service in the chapel.
Tony's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. May his legacy bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.
