James Seth Ray

James Seth Ray passed away on February 20, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his father, James A. Ray, and his grandmother, Lucille Anderson. Cherishing his memory are his son, James L. Ray, and Ashley Ray; his mother, Elise Ray; his brothers, Hosea Ray and John Ray; his sister, Mary Jones; and his beloved granddaughter, Payton Ray.

James honorably served in the Army National Guard and was a former officer with the Hope Mills Police Department. He later pursued a career as a self-employed licensed electrician in North Carolina. 

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Cross Creek Cemetery #4.

In lieu of flowers, those that wish to make a memorial contributions to the Ray family, may contract Rogers and Breece funeral home for further information.
