Retired SGT James Thomas Musselwhite, 78, of Eastover passed away on October 8, 2021.

James was born in Fayetteville, NC on December 19, 1942. He was a Vietnam veteran in the US Army where he received a Purple Heart for his heroic efforts.

James was preceded in death by his parents, father, Franklin D Musselwhite and mother, Nancy Bright. He is survived by his beloved wife Diane (Beard) Musselwhite of the home; daughter Mary Musselwhite Dale and husband Douglas of Winston Salem; daughter Bethany Gilleotte of Orlando, Fl; daughter Tammy Musselwhite of St. Petersburg, Fl; son James Musselwhite of Columbus, OH; sisters Jean Widener of Nashville, TN and Cathy Potter of Dearborn, MI; grandchildren Tommy, James, Tyler, Kayla, Peanut, Victoria, Nicholas, J.T, Joshua, McKenzie, Sophie, Amber, and Nathan.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1pm at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home on Thursday, October 14th, 2021. A visitation will be held on October 14th, 2021 at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home from 11:45am to 12:45pm.
