Agnes Jacquelin Smith, known by most as Jackie, passed away peacefully on the afternoon of March 19th.
Jackie was born on August 19, 1934, in Benson, NC. She graduated in 1952 from Benson High School and the Business Program at Peace College in 1956. She married her Benson sweetheart
Robert (Bob) Leslie Smith Jr., on June 27, 1956, and by 1957 would begin her important work as a stay-at-home mom to their 4 children. Once all her children had graduated high school, Jackie went to work with Bob at the family business, Copiers Plus. She loved her work family and was committed to ensuring everyone had what they needed, just as tenured mothers learn to do.

Jackie is survived by her brother Clarence Marvin Blackman Jr. (Raleigh, NC), sister in-law Peggy Winborne (Benson, NC), children: Ricky Smith and wife Donna (Greenville, SC), Tim Smith and wife Jacki (Fayetteville, NC), Leslie Smith of the home, David Smith and wife Sallie (Raleigh, NC), five grandchildren: Ryan Smith and Brooke, Amy Smith, Eric Smith and Molly, Stephanie Miller and Roger, Drew Smith and Jess, nine great grandchildren: Elsey, Sadey, Bonnie, Harper, Hadley, Hank, Henley, Hudson, and Addison, loving caretaker and friend Kathy Colosky and her compassionate nurses Chelsea Locklear and Caitlin Cox.
