Helen (Pat) Patricia Zumbahlen

Helen P. (Pat) Zumbahlen, 75, passed away on June 19, 2022.

Helen is preceded in death by her father, Charles C. Napier; mother, Mary Ann Napier; brother, Charles Napier; and sister, Margaret Kania. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Thomas H. Zumbahlen of Fayetteville; daughter, Shannon C. Wiggs of Fayetteville; granddaughter, Makayla A. Zumbahlen of Fayetteville; stepdaughter, Belinda K. Epperson of Charleston, SC; stepson, Bradley T. Zumbahlen of Fort Lauderdale, FL; sisters, Annette Napier of Suffolk, VA, Betty Napier of Jenson Beach, Fl, Bonnie Young of Chesapeake, VA, Carol Semester of Chesapeake, VA, and Teresa Wilkins of Carrsville, VA, and Cathy Midgett of Chesapeake, VA.

Helen was an artist; her favorite medium was watercolor. She was the past president of the Fayetteville Art Guild and the Marquise Chapter of the ABWA. She was an avid supporter of the Fayetteville Art Community. Helen loved to return to her birth state of West Virginia to go camping with members of her large family.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, June 27, 2022, at St Patrick’s Catholic Church at 12 to 12:45 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at 1 PM on June 27, at St Patrick’s Catholic Church with Father Sparrow officiating. Burial will follow the service at 3 PM at Lafayette Memorial Park West. Food will be provided at St Patrick’s after the burial.
