Heidi Sigrid Fitzpatrick

Heidi Sigrid Fitzpatrick, 84, passed away Friday, August 1, 2025.

Heidi was preceded in death by her husband, Leander F. Fitzpatrick and her parents Anita and Daniel Chatfield. She is survived by her children, Christine Tipton, Robert Fitzpatrick, and Lori-Ann Carver; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Heid was born September 1, 1940, in Berlin, Germany. She entered the US when she was 15 years old. She graduated from Pine Forest High School in 1959 and graduated from Campbell University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1995. Heidi went to Korea with her husband and worked as a Language Instructor in Korea teaching English and taught German at Ft. Bragg, NC.

Heidi enjoyed traveling near and far with her husband, swimming, word puzzles, and watching movies with her family.

Heidi was surrounded by her loved ones when she passed. She was loved by her family and friends. Her memory will continue to live on in our hearts, and we will never forget her.
