Gregory Robert Julius, 56, passed away on April 11, 2026.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Mary Julius; his daughters, Meghan, Jessica, Miranda, and Abigail; and his future grandson.
Gregory was deeply influenced by his grandparents, who helped instill in him a strong work ethic and a love for helping others. He loved spending time on the farm, where those values began to take root. He was also influenced by Chuck and Nancy, who were important figures in his life. He loved his wife, Mary, more than anything. That same devotion was reflected in how he cared for others, always going above and beyond to help those in need. Known for his gentle smile, generous spirit, and many talents, he was truly a jack of all trades.
Gregory’s life took him through several places, including Minnesota, Montana, California, and Washington State, before eventually settling in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He moved to Montana during his high school years, where he began forming lifelong friendships, a trait that followed him wherever he went. In the Seattle area, he built some of the closest friendships of his life. No matter where he lived, Gregory had a gift for connecting with others and forming friendships that lasted a lifetime. It was also in the Seattle area that he met the love of his life, Mary, and together they spent the next 30 years building a family that became his pride and joy.
Gregory brought a sense of humor and joy to everything he did, always finding a way to enjoy life. One of his favorite pastimes was four wheeling in his Jeep, a passion he shared with others as the founder of the Good Vibes Jeep Club. In his career, he worked in construction for Ryan Companies, where he was known for his strong work ethic. He was truly an amazing person and will be deeply missed.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on May 16 at Rogers & Breece Funeral Home. Friends are welcome to gather with the family prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 PM.
