He joined the Army in 1984 and fought in the first Gulf War. He was a water treatment specialist and serviced in Operation Desert Storm.
On October 19, 1991 Gordon married his wife Judy Elliott in the Philippines. They had their eldest daughter Caroline the following year, and soon after her birth, he retired from the Army.
In 1995, Gordon started working for PWC as a water treatment facility operator. They had their second daughter Cheyenne in 1999.
Gordon continued working for PWC until his retirement on March 1st, 2020. In his 24 years of service to PWC, Gordon demonstrated resilience, determination, passion, and hard work. He was well respected amongst his peers and achieved a long career of excellence in water treatment, including training all new plant operators and being just one of few who could effectively operate both of PWC’s water treatment facilities.
Gordon truly embodied a spirit of joy; in his free time he enjoyed activities like playing chess, listening to jazz, and spoiling his granddaughter. He was selfless to those he loved, and he was loved as a father, husband, grandfather, son, cousin, uncle, and friend to many.
