Gladys Bacot (Boahn) Johnson

Gladys Bacot Johnson (maiden name: Boahn), 98, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Cape Fear Valley Hospital. Gladys is a native of Fayetteville and was born on July 25, 1925.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Claxton Johnson and all her brothers and sisters.

Gladys is survived by her son, Bill Johnson and his wife, Carol, of Waynesville, NC; her daughter, Rebecca Mosher and her husband, Walt Mosher, of Ojai, CA; four grandchildren, Josh, Ben, Gabe and Rebecca; six great-grandchildren, River Grace, Victoria Rain, Jackson, Mason, Bruno, and Renji; nephew, Cliff Boahn and his wife, Ellen of Fayetteville, NC; and many other family members and friends.

Gladys loved to help others. Her kindness and compassion touched many hearts and souls.

A funeral service will be held at the Fayetteville Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 2601 Lone Pine Dr., Fayetteville, NC 28306 on Saturday, March 23 at 4:00PM.

Flowers or memorial donations in her honor to the Fayetteville SDA Church, of which she was the oldest member, would be the desire of her heart.
