Geraldean Llewellyn

Geraldean Llewellyn, 96, passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of family on March 26, 2023, to go home to be with the Lord.

Ms. Gerri was preceded in death by her father and mother, Luther Harvell Llewellyn and Willie Mar Westbrook Llewellyn, both of Gastonia, NC and her sister, Edna Bangle of Gastonia, NC.

Ms. Gerri leaves behind to cherish her memory her two sons, Louis C. Tebbe and wife, Patti of Gaylord, Michigan, James E. Tebbe and wife, Dana of Cypress, CA and daughter, Nancy T. Rotolo and husband, Joseph of Fayetteville, NC; grandchildren, Brandy Doster Williams of Fayetteville, NC, India Doster Kirksey of Gastonia, NC, Stormy Paige Kendrick of Pineville, NC, Alex Tebbe of Cypress, Ca, and Brooke Tebbe of Cypress, CA. She was blessed with many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Ms. Gerri was born in Vale, NC but settled as a young girl in Gastonia, NC where she called home. She loved the Lord and was blessed to live a long and full life. She loved to dance at the Senior Citizens Dance. She was full of life with a lot of spunk. She worked in textiles and after retirement became a caregiver. She will be remembered for her love of family and friends. Ms. Gerri will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life will be held for Ms. Gerri on June 10, 2023, at Martha Rivers Park in Gastonia, NC. Family will greet friends there at shelter #2 from 4 to 6 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Green Leaf Assisted Living Facility in Lillington, NC.
