Gary Brandon Tillman

Gary Brandon Tillman, Age 35, was taken from us, unexpectedly on May 29th 2020. He was met at heavens gates by his Father: Gary F. Tillman, Grandparents: Willie and Nellie Tillman, Ann Parker Wamsher and Earl Powell and Uncle James Tillman.

Brandon is survived by his Mother, Sherry Tillman and stepfather Glen Clifford of Fayetteville;  Sister, Melissa Reed and husband Clint of Grays Creek NC; Brother, Mark Wamsher and wife Cindy of Madison, Alabama; Grandpa, Don Wamsher of Fayetteville; Nephew, Shane Reed and Niece, Victoria Wamsher, both of which made their Uncle Brandon very proud!

Brandon's childhood years were spent living in his hometown of Fayetteville, NC, before moving to Arkansas as a teen. He attended and graduated from Farmington High School in 2002, where he was the star running back for the Farmington Cardinals. After high school, he joined the United States Marine Corp, where his graduation from basic training was always a great source of pride for Brandon. Soon after his time in the service, he moved back to Fayetteville and eventually took over the Tillman Family business for several years, until its closure in 2018.

Brandon had an infectious laugh, and smiled with the cutest little dimples that lit up his face - and the room. He was young and adventurous, "oh so witty", courageous, and free-spirited. He loved with all his heart and fought with all his might. Brandon always exhibited an abiding calm on the surface, yet turbulent waters lay deep beneath. He will forever be loved, forever be missed, and forever be remembered with fondness and warmth.

A Private service will be held at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home.
