Fred Franklin Nordan

Fred Franklin Nordan, 85, passed away Monday, December 28, 2020 at his home in Fayetteville, NC. Fred was born in Coats, NC on November 9, 1935 to the late William Parker and Lillian Nordan. 

Fred is survived by his wife June; son Michael Nordan and his wife Cathleen; daughter Michelle Mitsoff and her husband Lee; granddaughter Lacey Jordan and her husband Charles Jordan, great grandchildren Tyler and Lillian; granddaughter Candice Hawk, her husband Adrian and great grandchildren Waylon and Uriah; grandson Matthew Nordan, his wife Nicole and great grandchildren Kinsley and Parker; grandson Anthony Phelps, his wife, Kim Phelps and great grandchildren Parker, Aeson and Osiah; granddaughter Rene Phelps, her husband Caleb Relliford and great grandchildren, Windy and River; grandson Dylan Nordan and many other relatives and friends. 

Fred was first and foremost a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was very well known and an active member in his community. He was also a man of many trades (at last count, 46). He touched the lives of many people and will be greatly missed. 

A Memorial Service will be held at Brownie's UHAUL and Banquet Center, 2950 Lindsay Rd. Raeford, NC 28376, at 2 pm on Saturday, January 16, 2021. The family will receive invited family and friends following the memorial at Fred and June's home.
