Esperanza Billoch

Esperanza Billoch Garcia de Pagan, 105, of Maricao, Puerto Rico, passed away April 24, 2021 in Fayetteville, NC.

Titi Pera, as she was affectionately known by her family, was born September 15, 1915 to Salvador Billoch Ferrer and Anna Maria Garcia. She was the eldest of five and took care of her siblings after the death of their mother at a very young age.

She was married to Francisco Pagan and together they owned a bookstore for many years. Not having any children of her own, she cared for her nieces and nephews as if they were hers.

She loved dressing well, playing Sudoku, and a glass of red wine.

At the age of 105, she was preceded in death by much of her family and many of her favorite people. She is survived by her sister, Mercedes Torres, and nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 29th, from 6-8 PM at Rogers & Breece Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 29th, at 1:30 PM in the Rogers & Breece Chapel.
