Elvis Harold Leigh

Elvis Harold Leigh, 85, of Fayetteville passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Duke Medical Center.

Elvis is preceded in death by his parents, Zilford and Hazel Leigh; sister, Jeanette Hughes; and brother, Enoch Leigh. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Betty; daughters, Sandy Flanary (Ron), Sharon Barnhill (Chris); grandchildren, Amber Scott, Morgan Bowen, Kris Flanary, Madison Fann, and Makenzie Flanary; great grandchildren, Addysen, Landon, Kopeland, and Maddux.

Elvis was born in Conway, SC on November 24, 1936. He later moved to Aiken, SC for several years before making Fayetteville his home. He worked for Rohm and Haas for many years. He then went to work for Westinghouse and retired at the age of 60. Elvis loved camping, traveling, and spending time with his family. He was so loved and will be missed dearly.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 26, from 12:30 to 1:50 PM, with the Funeral following at 2:00 PM at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow the service at Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery.
