Elizabeth B. Bolton

Elizabeth B. Bolton, 101 years old, of Hope Mills passed away on May 7, 2024.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Basil E. Bolton, Sr. and her son, Basil E. Bolton, Jr. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters, Elizabeth “Ann” Bolton, Sharon Bolton Rickman and husband, Rick, and Rita Bolton; grandsons, Ryan Rickman and wife, Rebecca, and William Bolton; great granddaughter, Ryleigh Rickman; and her special friends, Kathy Farley, Yoli Anderson and family.

Elizabeth found joy in life's simple pleasures, from the comfort of a good book to the challenge of crossword puzzles. She delighted in the art of cooking and found peace by the water while fishing. Her devotion to her family was unmatched, and her lifelong membership at Massey Hill Baptist Church spoke to her unwavering faith.

For many years, Elizabeth contributed her talents and dedication to M&O Chevrolet in Fayetteville, NC, where she built lasting relationships and left a lasting legacy.

Though Elizabeth is no longer with us, her love and warmth will forever reside in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love of those who cherish her memory.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 13, 2024, at 3 PM at Lafayette Memorial Park with Pastor Tim Evans officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Massey Hill Baptist Church, 1027 Southern Ave Fayetteville, NC 28306, in Elizabeth’s honor.
