Doris Marie Garrett

Doris Marie Garrett 85, passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2021. She was born in 1935 in Bowdle, South Dakota to the late Ross and Marie (Treichel) Patton. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Neubern Woods Garrett, Jr; her parents; sister Betty Johnson; grandson Cameron Draughon and granddaughter Christina Garrett.
Doris is survived by her daughters, Karen Coulter of Fayetteville and Kathy Gies of Charlotte; her sons, James Garrett and wife Sabrina of Fayetteville and Richard Garrett of Fayetteville; sister Margaret Hiukka and husband Gary of OR; brother Harry Patton and wife Cindy of WA; 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and her loving dog “Tiny”.

For over 30 years, Doris owned and operated the Long Pine Mobile Home Park in Fayetteville until she retired. Family and friends will remember Doris as a strong and loving person who will be greatly missed.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, April 16, 2021 at LaFayette Memorial Park. A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 15, from 6-8 PM at Rogers & Breece Funeral Home.
