Dale Lynn Henderson

Dale Lynn Henderson, 66 years old, passed away on September 12, 2024.

Dale was preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl Henderson and his father, Leon Robert Henderson. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter, Brianna Payne; son, Schuyler Henderson; mother, Patricia Henderson; brother, Randal Henderson; brother, Gary Henderson; granddaughter, McKenzie Payne; and his grandson, Ryder Payne.

Dale was born in Fort Walton Beach, FL, to a military family and eventually settled in Goldsboro, NC. He attended Southern Wayne High School in Mount Olive and later attended Wayne County Community College. After serving 42 years active duty in the U.S. Army Reserve, he retired in Battle Creek, MI.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at Lafayette Memorial Park with military honors at 1 PM.
