Curtis Dean Smith Jr.

Curtis Dean Smith Jr.’s love of life did not come to an end with his passing on February 22, 2021. Many will continue to honor his legacy and love of life.

Curtis Jr. was born at Womack Army Hospital-Fort Bragg N.C. on June 8, 1979. He graduated high school from 71st and during his life span, he attended FTCC earning his AA in Industrial Maintenance and Electronic Engineering. Curtis Jr. also proudly served in the U.S. Army.

Post his military service, Curtis Jr. had several employment positions and ended his employment time as a Technician at Camping World in the Fayetteville area.

Curtis Jr. had a pleasant personality that was contagious to all around him. He never met a stranger and was always willing to help anyone due to his many talents and abilities. He was a strong believer in the right to bear arms and loved motorcycles, tattoos and his wife, Chante’. His children were the driving passion in his life and his love for them was unending.

Curtis Jr. is survived by his father, Curtis Sr., his mother Martha Witt, his brother Josh, his children Hailey, Noah, and Alyssa as well as his step children Caz, Dax, Savanna, his Omi and relatives in Germany as well as his beloved wife, Chante’.

Curtis Jr. will be missed by so very many good people that all felt fortunate to call Curtis Jr. their friend.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday March 7, 2021 at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home. 1-3PM. A second celebration will be held the same day, immediately after the Rogers and Breece event at the Red Monkey on Fort Bragg Road.
