Obituary
Claire H. Carver-Lacy (Dolores Clark) born in Mansfield, PA on April 10, 1933, to Catherine and Hildren J. Clark, met her Lord and Savior on September 4, 2023, while residing in Fayetteville, NC.
Her five children, Tony Mahosky of Morris, PA, Yvonne (Robert) Burdick of Sparta, NC, Dee Dee Ostrom of Arnot, Pa, Michaline (James) Bowen of Wellsboro, PA, and David (Rochelle) Mahosky of Yucaipa, CA, will cherish her love and devotion. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her spouse of 36 years, James (Jim) R. Lacy on July 27, 2023.
Claire had a very generous and kind heart, supporting several charitable organizations, as well as frequently giving groceries, especially rotisserie chickens, to her neighbors and friends. She also supported educational opportunities several family members had.
Claire was especially proud that she continued her own education, taking multiple business courses, obtaining her California real estate license and her ministerial credentials.
Prior to retiring in NC, Claire worked as a production manager for Apple Computer Company in California.
Claire and Jim will be interred at a later date in Mansfield, PA.
