Cheryl Landis (Brewington) Jacobs

Mrs. Cheryl Jacobs was born in Clinton, NC, on December 15, 1946, to the late Reverend Harvey Brewington and Mrs. Naomi Simmons Brewington. She departed this life and was called into the presence of her Lord and Savior on January 26, 2026.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Dori Brewington, Elma Dawn Brooks, and Marcia Groves; and her brothers, Todd and Rex Brewington.

Cheryl was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an active member of Cape Fear Baptist Church, sang in the choir and was involved in many church activities. She loved to work in her flower garden, accessorize her outfits, and enjoyed decorating.

Cheryl leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 60 years Bobby Jacobs; her sons, Byron Jacobs and Myron (Sue) Jacobs; her grandchildren, Zack Jacobs and Emily (John) Wensil; her great grandchildren, Jameson Jacobs, Weston and Elijah Wensil; her brother, Mike (Sarah) Brewington; sister-in-law, Sandra Brewington; brother-in-law, Danford Groves; many nieces and nephews that she loved, and a host of extended family and friends.
