Charles Dewitt Kirkendoll

Charles Dewitt Kirkendoll, 72, of Lumber Bridge, North Carolina, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025.

Charles was preceded in death by loved ones and leaves behind many who will cherish his memory.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Donna Kirkendoll, of the home; his daughter, Shawna Curry of Hope Mills; his sisters, Camellia Barfield of Grays Creek and Tonya Anderson (Denis) of St. Pauls; and his stepfather, Charles G. Wallace of Hope Mills. He was a proud grandfather to Rachel Henselder (Zack) of Hope Mills and Chase Curry of Jacksonville, and a loving great-grandfather to Avery Henselder, Alaina Henselder, and Victoria Henselder, all of Hope Mills. He is also survived by his nephews, Chandler Anderson of Virginia, Christian Anderson of Greensboro, North Carolina, and Gavin Williams of Parkton.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, from 12:45 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held in the chapel at 2:00 p.m., with Reverend Pageant officiating. Burial will follow at Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery.
