Charles Allen Burke Sr.

Charles Allen Burke Sr. 83, went to be with the Lord Friday, September 12th, 2025.

Charles was born to the late Joseph and Alice Burke on August 31st, 1942 in Fayetteville NC.

Charles is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years Barbara, his son Allen, sister Joann, and brother David. Charles is survived by his son Donald (Christy) of Fayetteville, daughter Diane (Rodney) of Fayetteville, Daughter in law Robin of Fayetteville, six grandchildren Jessica, Michael, Aaron, Travis, Brittney and Nash, four great grandchildren of Fayetteville, brother Lawrence (Betty) of Fayetteville, sister Kathy (Hope Mills), and many nieces and nephews. He worked at Fayetteville Cigar and Candy company for over 30 years, Smithfield Packing for 11 years, and Ed’s Tire and Auto Service delivering tires before retiring. He was a Sudan Shriner for several years. He was a nascar fan, his favorite driver was Darrell Waltrip. He enjoyed yard work and gardening. He loved spending time with his family. Charles will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. 

Graveside service will be Wednesday, September 17th at 11am at Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery. Officiated by Scot McCosh and Todd Padgett.
