Catherine Vivian Womack

On September 18, 2025, the world lost a one-of-a-kind woman, Catherine “Cathy/Cat” V. Womack, at the age of 75. Born to the late Irving and Muriel Colacci, Cathy was a vibrant soul whose life was defined by love, family, and unforgettable charm.

For 45 years, she shared her life with her devoted partner, Felix Troche. Together they raised a beautiful family, and her greatest joy was being a mother and grandmother. Cathy is survived by her five daughters: Michaela Johnson of Fuquay Varina, NC; Cissy Coon (Lee) of Fayetteville, NC; Talena Troche of Fayetteville, NC; Tiffany Troche (Eric Bacunawa) of Lillington, NC; and Kristin Rollins (Thomas Neal) of Henderson, NC.

She was a proud grandmother to five: Alexis Rolon (Angel) of Holly Springs, NC; Julien Bacunawa (Hailey Arnette); James W. Johnson (Skyyla Hale) of Holly Springs, NC; Tyler Rollins of Brevard, NC; and Landon Troche of Fayetteville, NC. She also cherished her great-grandson, Weston H. Bacunawa of Lillington, NC.

Cathy is also survived by her sisters, Rita Kelly and Beatrice Lamond, both of New Jersey; her niece, Kimberli Colavito (Gregory) and nephew Hayden Colavito; and great-grandnieces and nephews: Nicole Thompson (Craig), Holly Ferrara (Tony Rafael), Ryan Thompson, Quinn Thompson, Lianna Rafael, and Santino Rafael.

Cathy was known for her quick wit, sassy remarks, and incredible cooking. Holidays at her home were filled with laughter, delicious food, candies, and festive decorations. She had a youthful spirit, loved shopping, and never left the house without looking her best. Most of all, she had a unique way of showing her love and always made sure her grandchildren were safe.

She was deeply loved, and while her absence will be profoundly felt, her vibrant spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
