Brenda Bowen Maynor

Brenda Bowen Maynor, 78, of Fayetteville, NC passed away on May 22, 2024.

Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Wilkie Maynor; father, Wade Hamilton Bowen; mother, Verdaline Bowen Dutton; and her sister, Debra McLaurin. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Beverly Edenfield, Rita Patterson, and Mark Maynor; grandchildren, Lindsay Grant, Brooke Maynor Rayfield, Chloe Patterson, and Teegan Patterson; and her great grandchildren, Warren Zane Grant, Kaiden Maynor, and Wells Andrew Grant.

Brenda had a passion for travel, her church, and spending time with her beloved family. She was known for her spontaneity and adventurous spirit, always ready to dance and embrace new experiences.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at Fayetteville Community Church from 1 to 1:45 pm. A funeral service will be held at 2 pm with Reverend Wesley Pritchard officiating. Burial to follow the service at Cross Creek Cemetery.
