Anthony Carl Shepley

Anthony Carl Shepley, age 37, passed away on May 6, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Alvin Shepley, and his paternal grandfather, Raymond Shepley.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory: his father, Randolph “Randy” Shepley; paternal grandmother, Dorothy Jean Shepley; half-sister, Erica Warren; girlfriend, Nicole Day; and aunts and uncles, Sherry (Ronald) Matthews, Sandy (James) Hatch, Raymond (Diann) Shepley, Clyde (Mary Ann) Shepley, Joann (Mark) Carter, Linda Prevatte, and Johnny Shepley.

Anthony, known as Tony, was born in Robeson County in July of 1987. He was raised by his father and paternal grandparents in the Rockfish community of Hoke County. He worked in construction and automotive services for most of his life.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Tabernacle Baptist Church from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., with Reverend Tommy Underwood and Reverend Gary Leviner, Jr officiating. Burial will follow the service at Tabernacle Baptist Church Cemetery.
