Amos Tassy

Mr. Amos Tassy, 65, passed away on June 10, 2025. He was born on May 8, 1960, in Milot, Haiti, to the late Leonvil Tassy and Philomene Alexis.

In the 1980s, Amos married Mireille Bobo, and together they were blessed with five children. A devoted husband and father, Amos remained in Milot until immigrating to the United States in 2011 in pursuit of new opportunities for his family.

Amos had a deep passion for music and a boundless love for his family. Known for his strong work ethic and joyful spirit, he brought warmth and positivity to all who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Mireille Tassy; his 15 children; 22 grandchildren; 3 siblings; and a large extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home, located at 500 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301. A public viewing will be held prior to the service from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM.

Amos will be dearly missed and forever remembered for his love, laughter, and lasting legacy.
